Background
I study finance at the National University of Management (NUM) in Phnom Penh. My coursework covers financial analysis, banking and financial markets.
I use Cambodia’s payment systems every day, including Bakong, KHQR and bank apps, which is where many of the practical details on this site come from.
What I write about
- Payment systems and QR payments in Cambodia and Southeast Asia
- Banking and microfinance regulation
- Cross-border payments and remittances
- Crypto and digital asset rules
How I work
I write from primary sources: National Bank of Cambodia regulations and reports, other central banks and regulators, and official releases. I can read Khmer-language regulations, which are often published before English versions. When sources disagree, I say so on the page. See the editorial policy.
